6 Salmon Slices, if salmon fillets are available, use that

Salmon and Carrots En Papillote
I love the recipes from Everyday Food, they are quick, healthy, delicious and very easy to prepare. I particularly love this salmon dish because it’s super healthy. Salmon is loaded with lots of Omega 3 which is very good for the heart. This dish requires no oil at all so it’s great for those people on diet. It’s basically a complete meal!
En Papillote is a French way of cooking in which you cook food in parchment. Sounds so “sosyal” no? Yes it is, but very simple to make. It’s a great way to surprise your friends and family. They’d think that you did a lot to prepare this food.
I’m a huge fan of Martha Stewart so I always look for easy and delicious recipes on her website. This recipe is great because the brownies come out moist plus it’s very easy to make. My son and my husband love these brownies so much. They both have sweet teeth. They love anything chocolatey. So for chocolate lovers out there this is must-try recipe for you.
Best-ever Chewy Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Every foodie is in the search for the best chocolate chip cookie recipe. Personally I want it chewy and I want it with lots of chocolate chunks, take note not chips, which makes this a chocolate chunk cookie recipe. I love that this recipe has big pieces of chocolate in every bite. I found this recipe on Yahoo! Shine and it’s indeed the best I’ve ever tried. This recipe makes chewy cookies with just the right amount of sweetness.
This is my attempt to be a food blogger. I read a lot of food blogs and I love that they take a photo of each step of the recipe. I find the recipe easy to follow that way. I hope you find my attempt useful. I forgot to take photos of some of the steps so please bear with me. I will do better next time.
How to make your own Caramel Popcorn
I love Chef Tony’s classic caramel popcorn, so I decided to make my own. I know I’ll save more money if I make my own. So I went to Google and searched for the best caramel popcorn recipe. I thought the process would be difficult but it wasn’t. It’s very easy to make it and very affordable as well. I got the recipe from this blog. This blog calls this recipe “the perfect caramel popcorn.” She’s right about that, it might not look like the popcorn from Chef Tony’s but the taste, I think it’s more caramelly!
Here’s what you’ll need:
I used Popperoo Theater-style popcorn for this recipe but any bran of popcorn kernels will do.
Quick and Easy Spaghetti
I really need a break from all the baking because I’ve been working so hard. I really thank God for giving me a lot of people who love to eat cookies. So today, I thought of buying spaghetti for my son. Uno loves spaghetti so much that he does not get tired of it, he could eat it everyday. I just decided to just cook at home so that all of us at home could eat. Here’s my quick and easy spaghetti recipe which I know we all would love especially kids. And did I mention this recipe very affordable? I spent P200 only.
Martha Stewart’s Red Velvet Cupcake + the Best Frosting I’ve Ever Had
I always thought that it’s complicated to make red velvet cupcakes. When I first tasted one, it became my favorite but I thought to myself it will be very difficult to make one. Because of that, I’ve always delayed myself on learning how to make them. My sister wanted me to learn how to make these cupcakes because it’s one of our favorite flavors.
So I seek the help of the queen of all domestic divas, Martha Stewart. I found a red velvet cupcake recipe on her website, however the frosting she used was the usual cream cheese frosting. I used vanilla cream frosting on mine, which according to Pioneer Woman, is the best frosting ever! And she is damn right! So far it’s the best for me, I think the flour made it better. Yes! This frosting has flour in it. Just try it, you’ll understand what I’m saying. The vanilla cream frosting recipe is originally from a Tasty kitchen member called MissyDew.
Martha Stewart’s Red Velvet Cupcake + the Best Frosting I’ve Ever Had = Heaven! It’s the best red velvet cupcake I have ever tasted!

A Simple Lasagna Recipe
Who doesn’t love Lasagna? Lasagna is one of my favorite Italian dishes. I always ate this when I was pregnant with Uno. I never thought it would be so easy to make one. There are a lot of Lasagna recipes out there which all tastes good, however I find some of the ingredients difficult to find especially when the recipe is from someone overseas. I’ve made mine simple and budget friendly. This is a tried recipe, I’ve done this numerous and every time, the ones who eat this ends with a happy tummy.
A slice of this Lasagna is very filling, and a whole pan can feed 12 people.
Here’s the recipe.
I really was not intending to make this but because my first doughnut recipe failed so I had to find a way to make use “doughnuts” so it won’t go to waste. Bread pudding is something my mom used to make when we were kids, she uses old pandesal for bread pudding. We didn’t have oven then so she uses a steamer to bake it and the results are the same as when you use an oven.
Yes, you use old bread for this pero hindi naman ung inaamag na noh! A week old bread is OK, yung mga tinapay na matigas na at hindi na masarap are perfect for bread pudding. It’s a great way so we don’t put leftover bread to waste because there are a lot of people who are not eating.
This recipe is adapted. I’m a Google baker OK! You will find the original recipe here.
Moist Mocha Cupcake with Mocha Frosting
Rest days are my days when I usually bake. I never thought baking could be so easy. The internet is a very important tool for me because most of the recipes I use are on the internet. I just tweak them a bit so I could make it my own. So yesterday, I made cupcakes, mocha cupcakes specifically. Mocha is one of my favorite flavors for cakes. The secret to making a moist cupcake is to use vegetable oil partly. I learned that on a show in the Lifestyle Network. The original recipe of this cupcake can be found here.
