I’ve been pretty stressed with my job lately. It’s been a while since I’ve felt like this. I’m not tired of my job actually, I’m tired of the people around me. I won’t speak about specific people, I’ll just say “people” as a general thing.
I don’t mind being told what to do, I just hate it when they tell me the same thing over and over again, and accuse me of things that I’m not. I admit I am a bitch sometimes but that’s very seldom. Or yes! I am a bitch all the time but I am never rude, I am just sarcastic. Other people can attest to that, and when I am wrong I admit it. I just don’t appreciate being told over and over that I am wrong. It irritates me, what if someone does that to you, won’t you get irritated too?
This post has been long overdue but anyway last June 7th, I was asked by a former team mate to be a god mother or ninang to her daughter. She texted me Tuesday and she said that the Baptism will be Saturday. I was like seriously? It was so abrupt but I said yes anyway. Malas daw ang tumanggi sabi ng matatanda, I don’t believe that by the way. I’m not a very superstitious person. And also Jen told me that I don’t have a choice kaya go na!
She asked most of her former team mates to be god mothers and god fathers so we all went together plus I don’t know where their house is. We weren’t able to join the Baptism itself because we had a shift so we just went to the reception.
It was wonderful to see people that I don’t always see. And by the way it as her first birthday also so it was a double celebration. I have photos of myself in this entry this time because Charles took some of the other photos. Thanks my friend!
I’m going to write this while it’s still fresh in my mind. This 50 Shades trilogy got me so hooked I was able to read the 3 books in a week. I still have to do some chores and I was even able to process my application so I could get a new smart phone. Yay! I got a Blackberry! It will never be the same without my Android but it’s better that not having a smart phone at all. I will write more things about it on a separate entry. What I’m just saying is that even if I was a busy mom, I was able to find some time to read the book anytime I have a chance. That’s how engaging these books are.
This book is so entertaining. The writer did great on catching a person’s attention, it’s like a telenovela that will keep you wondering what will happen next. I love that the book is so fearless. The story is a mix of everything and I like that it’s set in the present time. The story is very modern. This book has been a part in my decision to get a Blackberry. The writer did a good job in describing every bit of the the character’s appearance and personality. I think any good writer knows how to do that. The story is a mix of sex, drama, romance, and action. And I must say that the book is well researched.
Another thing I really love about these books is the conversations of Ana and Christian, using emails. The relationship may be fast paced. They dated, moved in and got married within a year but the story was not at all. James was able to reveal secrets of Christian Grey all through out the three books. I think this book is made to be a movie. The movie would be great, given that the screenplay and cast will be good.
So I heard The 50 Shades of Grey is in the works to becoming a movie. I felt excited! I hope the movie will be great too. When I started reading this book, I thought it would be a good movie and I already have actors in mind who I think would be great to play the two main characters, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
For Christian Grey, I think Armi Hammer would perfectly fit the character in the book. He played the Winklevos twins in the movie “The Social Network.” Yes he played the twins! That’s not a grammatical error. When I saw him in that movie, I thought to myself this is one fine man! With EL James description of gray eyes and well built guy, I think he definitely fits the description.
For Ana Steele, the pale skin, innocent, skinny pretty girl, who got deflowered by Christian Grey, I think Amanda Seyfried is the one. I’m just not sure if she will be willing to do those racy scenes in the book, but she’s so perfect for the role. She’s the the actress that came to mind while I was reading the book. And she’s winning the poll over at people.com.
The book that everyone is raving about. I was curious so I tried to Google if there is any PDf file that I can download and voila! I found one. And as I was reading it I was so hooked, the book is great! I’m just in chapter 3 and I can’t stop reading it. Warning: this book is for adults only.
Me and my sister are Papa’s girl. Growing up we always go to our Dad when our Mother wouldn’t allow us to do things. When we go to him it’s always a yes. Ganun talaga siguro ang mga anak na babae, mas close sa mga tatay nila.
Yesterday, we had the opportunity to express our love for our father. Our church celebrated Father’s day yesterday, we celebrated it late but it’s special, we saved the best for last as they say.
Wives and children gave messages to their Dad and husbands in their lives and it was one teary day for everyone. It all started when Ate Gryll read my sister’s message for my dad.
I know this movie was shown months ago but I just had the time to watch it now. This movie is about the life of the British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. She was called the Iron Lady because of her leadership style. There was one part of the movie when they had a war against Argentina where she showed strength but at the same time she showed that she has a heart. She even said, “sink it” in a very decisive tone, in which she is referring to the Argentinian ship. There were a lot casualties and when she was told about it she just said, “I have to write a letter to the families of this soldier.” And on her letter she said that she was one the only prime minister who is a mother so she knows the feeling of a mother losing her children, in which I think she showed that she has a heart. She was the longest serving prime minister of the 20th century and people say that she was the greatest prime minister since Winston Churchill.
This might be a late celebration, but who cares, the whole month of May is for mothers! Our church recognized moms today, they prepared a special program for us. I was so touched that I cried a bit, especially when Clyde and my Dad went in front and gave a special message for me. Yes! Clyde went to church with us! I did not ask him, he just said that he will go with us. I was so happy and excited, I am super happy today! These are some pictures of what happened.
