I really love Pinterest! It’s one of the most useful inventions ever. I was searching for printable flash cards yesterday and I can’t find the ones I like on Google so I headed over to my Pinterest account and voila! It’s better than Google. It gave me tons of photos about flash cards and the best I found is from the website mrprintables.com! Their flash cards are all so cute and at the same time elegant. They’re perfect for your kids and most of all, it’s free. Uno loves them and I know moms would love to use them on their kids too.
Who doesn’t love Lasagna? Lasagna is one of my favorite Italian dishes. I always ate this when I was pregnant with Uno. I never thought it would be so easy to make one. There are a lot of Lasagna recipes out there which all tastes good, however I find some of the ingredients difficult to find especially when the recipe is from someone overseas. I’ve made mine simple and budget friendly. This is a tried recipe, I’ve done this numerous and every time, the ones who eat this ends with a happy tummy.
A slice of this Lasagna is very filling, and a whole pan can feed 12 people.

I said to myself I would never leave Baguio, well I don’t really live in Baguio, I live in the “suburbs” that we call La Trinidad. It’s kinda like Baguio, it’s about 20 minutes from the city. This place is almost like a city because there are a lot of groceries, we have Pure Gold and other local names. We also have McDonalds, Jollibee, Greenwich and Mang Inasal and we are just a drive away from the nearest SM. So basically we have everything we need here. The weather is one of the things I can’t leave here, we have free aircon and unlike Manila it’s less polluted here.

I wanted to blog because, honestly, I envy those bloggers who get free stuff from different brands. I don’t care if my blog will not earn money, I just want those free stuff! I know it’s a lame reason and I know I’m far from that because my daily traffic is far from 5000. I found out from Liz of projectvanity.com that to get sponsorship, traffic is very important. Traffic is the number of page views that you get monthly. So free stuff goodbye! I don’t have that much traffic.
I think my mom said before that I have a little of Japanese blood in me that’s why I have eyes like this. As I was growing up I used to get teased because of my eyes. In high school a classmate called me “pintsik,” meaning pinoy-intsik. That didn’t bother me, I was more sensitive when people call me overweight. Anyway, even my own husband teases me especially when he takes my photos, he said that I looked like I’m closing my eyes. He even tells me to not to smile dahil nawawala daw ang mata ko. Whatever I don’t care, what I care about is these Asian women who wants to have larger eyes or simply double eyelid.
I was watching The Doctors on the Lifestyle Network and they were debating whether it’s ok or not to do these, why these women go under the knife just to have double eyelids, what are the implications. Personally I am not in favor of that, I like how my eyes look. I never wished that my eyes were bigger. Some people even asked me if I can see well. Some people think that I can’t see well because I have small eyes. Well, that is ridiculous and stupid! Of course the cornea is in the middle of the eyes that’s why the vision of people with smaller eyes are the same with people with bigger eyes. God wouldn’t make something that does not function well on one person and functions well on another.
I love taking pictures, especially pictures of my son. I don’t have a problem letting him pose for me because he loves the camera so much that sometimes I am tired already but he still wants his pictures taken. He starts to cry when I stop.
He claps right after he sees the flash or when he hears the click of the camera. That explains the hand actioncon the photos. He’s extremely happy when his picture gets taken.
He loves getting kissed and giving hugs, he also likes to bless (mano) and shake people’s hands when we are at church. My son is a people person and he loves to smile. And an update, he’s now always behave when he’s in Sunday school, her Sunday school teacher said that he starts to roam around only after Sunday school or when he sees Ado.

This thing is making me cry. They always say that things will all start to sink in after you’re loved one gets buried/cremated. I’m starting to feel it already. I just don’t show it because I have to be strong for my mom but when I’m alone I miss Papa very much!

Jasmine Curtis-Smith for Bayo? I thought she was for Love, Bayo. Anyway, I love this campaign! I love all the colors but my favorite is green!
I’ve been wanting to get myself one of those colored jeans and I finally did! The “Queen of Color,” Jessica Alba loves wearing them, she’s one of my style icons by the way. I tried several, coral, blue and pink and I ended up with this green one because it’s my favorite color. And also I’m still not ready for those bright colored ones.
My favorite color combination is blue and green so I wore this navy vest like top with it. I wore a cardigan of course because I have huge arms haha! And my favorite in this outfit is this smoking slippers or also known as loafers. Huli ako sa uso dahil matagal na tong sinusuot ng mga celebrities, at ngayon lang ako nakabili. What can I do, I live in the mountains, matagal bago dumating ang mga trends dito haha! Better late than never. And those are courtesy of my generous husband. I was able to convince him to buy me one haha!
