My Blackhead and Chapped Lip Problem
As I said before I’m not a beauty blogger but I like to share products that worked on me. I found two products recently that are very much effective and I myself can’t believe it worked.
I have a lot of black heads on the sides of my nose and some on top. My skin may looks clear afar but closer, I do have black heads and white heads. I wasn’t planning on using this one but I was on the look out for a new scrub so I tried this. I thought it would be like the other facial scrubs that I’ve used that promises to eliminate, if not, reduce those stubborn black heads but doesn’t work. This one is different it did what it promised. I’ve used it for a week and I saw major results. The skin on my nose is much smoother and so much clearer.
This product is safe for use everyday, it does not dry the skin which is very important for me. I highly recommend Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub! It’s affordable too! It’s only P255 at Watson’s for a 100g tube. You seriously need to try this if you have a black head problem like me.

I have always used Burt’s Bees Lip Balm because it really healed my chapped lips, especially that the weather here in Baguio is ever changing. Now it’s warm and later it’s cold.
One of the most sensitive skin in our body is the lips so I am very careful on what to use on that part. I found out years ago that any petroleum product on the skin is not good. It’s not only earth friendly, it also dries the skin in the long run. That’s why I used Burt’s Bees because it’s made of high grade bees wax, but you know, I live up north and the only Face Shop here closed a few years ago. I’ve always asked my sister to buy me one from Manila but it’s going to be very impractical if I ask her to ship me one. Compute: P375 + P120 shipping = a whopping P495 just for a lip balm! So scratch that thought. Mine ran out so I have to look for an alternative and I found my lip savior!
Nivea Med Protection is the next best thing for me. It has a great cherry scent. It made a great difference the first time I used it. And by the way it’s only P84 at Tiong San. I think I’ll use this until I could get myself one of those Burt’s Bees.
