Retail and Food Therapy

The saddest person when Papa passed away was Mama. Of course she is his wife, 25 years of partnership is no joke. Papa gave Mama courage, she said malakas ang loob nya pag andyan si papa. Now that he’s gone she needs to be independent, but we, her children will always be here for her. Kung pwede lang di ako magtrabaho para lagi akong nasa bahay, but that’s not possible, I have to work. I know she’ll be fine, she’s a strong woman. Everything happens for a reason.

We went for some retail therapy and food tripping para naman malibang si Mama.

We ate at the newest branch of Good Taste in Carino. I was surprised that the new branch was very spacious and much cleaner than their other branch. I especially love their comfort room because it’s clean. Good Taste is popular for huge servings at an affordable price. It’s best to eat in this place if you are a group. The food tastes the same like in the other branch. Their food tastes good, the seasoning is just right. It’s like a home cooked meal. We ordered Bird’s Nest Soup, Lechon Kawali, Pansit Canton and Fried Rice, we also took out an order of their famous Buttered Chicken.

Uno was throwing tantrums while we were eating because it was time for his nap time but he does not want to sleep. It was raining hard again when we went home and while we were on the cab, Uno fell asleep standing up. I was trying to carry him but he kept refusing. Just imagine a little boy standing up sleeping, looking like a drunkard. It was a funny moment and all of us in the cab including the driver was laughing hard. Sayang di ko navideo! 

I know Mama enjoyed our little date. From time to time I plan to bring her out so she would have something else to do. It will take a while before she could move on but with the help of God, us and her support group, she will be able to get pass this.
