Products I love!

I am no beauty blogger but I want to share to women, especially MOMS, the products I love that you might want to try. Every woman has issues with their skin and hair, even celebrities do. For us ordinary people, who can’t afford celebrity treatments there are a lot of products that can help use achieve much better skin and hair. Best thing about these products is that they are super affordable.

It’s called beauty for less!

I do have occasional breakouts before my period but at least these products help my skin to have lesser pimples, maybe one or 2 pimples a month. I also don’t have the perfect hair, my hair is actually frizzy if I don’t use these products. When I say frizzy, I mean sabog ang hair ko kung ordinary shampoo and conditioner ang ginagamit ko. I am not gifted when it comes to hair but I am blessed with good facial skin. I have skin issues in my arms too because I live in Baguio. I get a few bumps in my arms when it gets really cold. It’s like goose bumps, but their semi permanent. I can’t get rid of them totally. I was able to get rid of them once using St. Ives Clear Pore Body Wash but that body wash is not sold anymore, so they came back.

I don’t use make up or go to the spa for treatments. My sister told me to never use make up because make-up will make me mature. I’m baby face daw kasi. Chos! When I go to the salon I only go there to get a haircut. So I just buy products that I can use at home at the same time are inexpensive.

These products keep my skin clearer and my hair more manageable.

I have a combination skin on my face. That means that my t-zone is oily and my cheeks are dry. For my face I just use Ponds facial wash and I moisturize with St. Ives Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer because my cheeks get flaky. That means they’re very dry. I love this moisturizer because it has collagen. I have used this moisturizer in my tummy to minimize stretch marks after I gave birth and it really worked. This product keeps my facial skin supple all day long. I use these two, twice a day, in the morning and before bed.

This facial wash really works in minimizing black heads. This is only around P165 and I have been using this for 3 months now. It’s so sulit! (Available at supermarkets and drug stores.)

This moisturizer is P235 a jar. It’s really big so I use for a long time. I think I use one jar for 3-5 months. Another sulit product! (Available at Watson’s and Tiong San)

For my hair I use Dove Straight and Silky shampoo and conditioner. I used to use Loreal but when I tried Dove, it really made my hair less frizzy. My hair is thick too so it lessens the volume. Who needs hair rebond?

They’re P110 a bottle of 180 ml and it lasts for more that a month because I have short hair. (Available at groceries and department stores)

The products mentioned above are products that I have been using for a really long time. They’re already tried and tested by me and they really work. I am now trying new products that I have read from beauty blogs and they are all worth the try, especially Asian Secrets, it’s super moisturizing, It helped lessen the bumps in my arms, so I think I will use this for a long time. You will feel the difference after the first use.

The small jar is only P80 and the saleslady at Watson’s said that it’s mabili. (Available at Watson’s)

I also bought a new variant of Vaseline lotion, it’s called Coco Glow. What I love about it is the scent, it smells like vanilla ice cream. And because it has cocoa butter, it’s highly moisturizing. I think my skin has a different glow now because of this lotion.

Only P149 a bottle, so very sulit. I should be able to use this for more than 2 months. (Available at Watson’s)

I am also trying a new hair treatment now which is Lory’s Hair Creme. You can use this as hot oil treatment. I also tried it on my husband’s super curly hair and I can see the difference now. His hair is not so dry anymore.

It’s only P185 a jar and it’s really big. The scent is good too. (Available at Watson’s)

Every woman has unwanted hair so this product is not new to me. I have been using Nanny Rose Honey Wax for about a year now to remove hair in my armpits. This product makes my armpits smooth and it has whitening properties too. It’s tried and tested to remove unwanted hair on any parts of your body. The best thing about it is it’s honey wax, so you wouldn’t have the trouble of reheating like the ordinary wax that they use in waxing salons. You will never get burned. You can use this product cold or warm, but for me I use it cold. It comes with 2 spatula and 3 pieces of cloth that are washable so you can use it the next time you wax again. Talagang super sulit!

This 50g jar is only P99. Even Divine Lee recommends this.(Available at Watson’s)

These products are all hypoallergenic so they are safe for sensitive skin. But as you know results vary on each person. So the results I got may not be the result that you will get. I have been using some of these products for a long time so I have tried and tested them.

These products are just here to help. It’s still best to have at least 7 hrs of sleep to have beautiful skin. Having a healthy lifestyle is still the best way to stay young and beautiful.
